In 2012, the Huaqiao International Service Business Park will begin measures to speed up the development of the area’s corporate headquarter economy.

So far, Huaqiao has 43 corporate headquarters in total, among which 21 corporations have been put into operation. Most corporations specialize in wholesale and retail operations. Among the 21 corporations, 13 have operating revenue of more than 100 million yuan separately.

Headquarter offices in Huaqiao’s service industry have grown steadily. In the first half of 2012, the added value of the service industry in Huaqiao increased by 36.2 percent to 4.08 billion yuan, among which headquarter operation created 1.09 billion yuan, up 53.2 percent from 2011.

Large enterprises with headquarters in Huaqiao have continued to develop but new enterprises are making greater contributions.
