Founded in 2004, Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) (formerly called Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School) is a school catering teaching, research and social service. On August 30, 2008, HSBC donated 150 million yuan to support Peking University to develop a world-class business school and “Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School” was officially renamed “Peking University HSBC Business School”. An unveiling ceremony was held October 22 of the same year.
PHBS aims at taking advantage of the unique innovative environment of Shenzhen and the favorable location immediately adjacent to the international metropolis of Hong Kong, giving a full scope to the advantages of Peking University in scientific research.
