Building a city that satisfies people’s needs and enhances their living standard is one of the plans for the development of Huaqiao. Shopping mall, cinema and sports center are just part of the plans for Huaqiao.

It is theThe Dongnandong shopping mall located at Huaqiao expressway that will offer shopping and traveling all at the same time. Designed by Xie Lixiang, an eminent architectural designer from Taiwan, the building is due to be finished before Aug 27, when the mall will open to the public.

The film center, consisting of one large hall for 400 people and five average-size halls, which can accommodate 120 people each, will provide the audience with a comfortable place to enjoy the feast of wonders. Covering 3,450 square meters, this center will be open on Sept 16.

Basketball, football, squash, golf and other games can be enjoyed at Meigefei sports center, located at the south end of Lvdi avenue. In addition, commercial meeting spaces and fitness center may also find their place at Meigefei, set to open in October.
