Xu Mang, Director of the Business Services Bureau of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, visited Huaqiao Business Park with other officials on July 27, 2010. Huang Jian, vice mayor of Kunshan, and Shen Huafei, deputy director of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, warmly welcomed them.

The guests visited the plan model and construction site of Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone, listening to a report on the plan and the current progress of the cross-strait zone's construction. They appreciated the scientific plan and design of the project.

Xu Mang said that many Taiwan-funded enterprises are located in Kunshan, and the cross-strait (Kunshan) commerce and trade cooperation zone will facilitate them to provide better service according to the current situation of Kunshan and meet the demands of the new industry. He holds that the cross-strait cooperation zone will serve as a catalyst to promote the cooperation between Suzhou and Taiwan.
