On July 20, 2010 leaders of Kunshan Environmental Protection Bureau went to Huaqiao International Service Business Park to solve issues discovered through the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Ren Xueyuan, Standing Comittee member of Kunsha CPC Municipal Committee and Director of Administration Committee of Huaqiao Development Area, as well as two deputy directors, Shen Huafei and Zhang Jianwen, attended the meeting.

Ren expressed his appreciation to Environmental Protection Bureau for supporting Huaqiao Business Park for so many years. He said that it was a critical period of developing the Business Park. To develop scientifically and environmentally is the common goal of the government, investors and the Environmental Protection Bureau. To realize the goal, Huaqiao International Service Business Park needs professional guidance and support from the government.

At the meeting, Ren discussed with the officials from the Environmental Protection Bureau on EIA issues, supervision and management functions and the construction of environmental protection facilities. Leaders and officials presented at the meeting launched a careful analysis of existing problems and did their utmost to reach effective solutions.
