The first-stage work of construction on the Cross-straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone exhibition center started in May at Huaqiao, Jiangsu. All the foundation engineering has been completed, and the main steel structure work will wrap up soon. The overall decoration is about to start.

The provincial government decided to hold a closing ceremony of Jiangsu-Taiwan Week on September 22 at this exhibition center. To assure a successful closing ceremony, Huaqiao Park has sped up the construction to finish it in three months.

As a hub for Taiwan businessmen on the mainland, this Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone will provide the first platform for Taiwan commodities on the mainland to strengthen Cross-Straits business ties.
