A delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Committee (CPPCC) in Minxing District, Shanghai paid a visit to Huaqiao Park on July 14.

Tang Naixin, deputy director of Huaqiao Park introduced its positioning, business patterns and development progress. Huaqiao Park is poised to become a satellite city of Shanghai and provide services to local businesses. In the past four years, Huaqiao has evolved into a business attraction with influence on the international arena. Its infrastructure is well equipped and it has become a proving ground for service outsourcing giants.

Hu Shenyao, head of the delegation, expressed interest in its development. He said that Minxing district of Shanghai is drawing its post-Expo blueprint. The experience Huaqiao gained during its growth set an excellent example and they could profitably share with each other.

In addition, they also discussed issues over rural relocation, industrial shifting and land development.
