As Huaqiao Park emerges as an international business attraction, the needs for first-class medical care take on a new urgency. The local management, together with Wu Mengchao Medical Technology Fund, has decided to establish a high-level hospital in Huaqiao Park.

All the preparation work is well underway. A coordination meeting was held to discuss problems over its registration and operation. The departments involved have settled on joint approaches to ensure that the hospital can be put into service by the end of the year.

The hospital, now called Dongfang Taihe Hospital, has a registered capital of 100 million yuan.
