The closing ceremony of the Jiangshu-Taiwan Week is to be held in Huaqiao this September, announced the Jiangshu government in an effort to promote its global image，advance construction of the Cross-straits Trade Zone, and to speed up cross-straits business exchanges and cooperation.

For Huaqiao Park, it is the first time it hosts such a high-level activity. Alongside the opening ceremony, other business activities are all on the agenda with a focus on the economic exchange between Jiangshu and Taiwan, which includes the launch of the Cross-straits Trade Zone , an exhibition of agricultural products, an electronic information expo and the 2010 Finance Outsourcing Summit to name a few.

Jiangshu is a business attraction for most Taiwan businesses. In 2009, the trade volume between Jiangshu and Taiwan reached 22.359 billion.
