The 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai has raised great concern among all Chinese people, including the working staff in the SEG Electronics Market in Huaqiao International Service Business Park, which is located in east Suzhou’s Kunshan.

Driven by a high sense of social responsibility, the Kunshan SEG Electronics Market has been active in organizing its workforce and sellers within the Market to donate for the quake-stricken areas in Yushu prefecture.

On April 21, 2010, Zhen Yongfeng, chairman of Kunshan SEG Electronics Market, has taken the lead and inspired all employees to donate for the quake relief. The donation totalled RMB 28,133 yuan that day. Besides, those who were shopping at the Market have also been active in participating in the donation.

Kunshan SEG Electronics Market has called on the public to help people in quake-hit regions. “Let us join hands in a common effort with strength and benevolence to help victims in Yushu combat the disaster,” that’s their appeal.
