Jiang Hongkun, a member of the standing committee and secretary of Suzhou city, met Bi Weiya, vice president of the Capgemini Group and other colleagues on Feb.7.

Others attending the meeting included: Zhang Guohua, the secretary of Kunshan; Guan Aiguo, deputy secretary and mayor of Kunshan, and Ren Xueyuan, director of the management committee of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

The arrival of Capgemini, the well-known outsourcing supplier, in Kunshan is an example for other foreign enterprises. Jiang expressed his hope that Capgemini will invest more in Kunshan.

"China is one of the key markets for Capgemini," Bi told the government officials, "Capgemini will develop more programs in Kunshan."

Kunshan benefits from its unique location next to Shanghai and also boasts a supportive government and pleasant environment. Kunshan is a county-level city noted for its high level of government efficiency.
