From 14 to 18 December, Ren Xueyuan, a member of municipal committee and the director of the management committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, led the relevant officer of Party’s Policy Office and Business Invitation Bureau to give a road show in Beijing. This road show paid a visit to many departments and enterprises, including Department of Trade in Services of Ministry of Commerce, China Investment Promotion Agency, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China’s People Bank, Bank of China Head Office, University of Business and Economy, Internet Society of China, Wanda Group, China Film Group, Wangshang Culture Group, Wanguo Database Group and Camelot Information Technology, etc.

During this road show, Ren Xueyuan emphasized on the promotion of the five biggest advantages including the geographic advantage between Huaqiao International Business Town and Shanghai, the perfect infrastructures and function facilities, the clear industry orientation and advantages of industrial agglomeration and the government’s strong impetus.

Moreover, he introduce Huaqiao’s industry overview and the specific measures that Huaqiao International Business Town would like to take in the next stage, which includes working together with American IPI to build the first standardized international service outsourcing area of China; establishing Huaqiao’s research center for financial outsourcing; holding China’s Financial Outsourcing Summit annually; and fully resolving the development bottleneck problem of the service outsourcing enterprises.

After this road show, the relevant state departments formed a deeper understanding of industry development status and environment of Huaqiao International Business Town and were more determined on Huaqiao’s dedication to the development of financial outsourcing. The chief officers of Ministry of Commerce, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission, China’s People Bank and other relevant departments extended their will to organize a team specialized in financial outsourcing to see about Huaaiao on the Spring Festival in a bid to push the development of Huaqiao’s financial outsourcing industry. Wanda Group, Bank of China Head Office, Wangshang Culture Group and other enterprises also made their plan to visit Huaqiao International Business Park in the near future.
