Ren Xueyuan, director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone met with Lin Zhenbu, president of Ching Hwa Biotech Co Ltd, during "Taiwan-Jiangsu Week" and the first Taiwan-Jiangsu trade forum, inaugurated in Taipei on Nov 10, in a bid to promote trade between China`s Jiangsu province and Taiwan.

Ren introduced the construction of the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Operation Zone, located in Huaqiao International Service Business Park, a vigorous and modern commercial development zone.
The Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone, covering 3.65 sq km, aims to become the first platform providing purchasing, retail, wholesale and exposition services to Taiwanese commodities to the mainland, according to Ren.
He urged Ching Hwa Biotech Co Ltd to set up headquarters in Huaqiao in a bid to expand the mainland market.
Lin said he was optimistic about Huaqiao’s development and is considering investing in Huaqiao.
