Su Longde, director of the Global Logistics Council of Taiwan, made a promise to encourage local enterprises to visit Huaqiao International Service Business Park in east Jiangsu’s Kunshan for an investigation into business opportunities.

Ren Xueyuan, director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, paid a visit to the Global Logistics Council of Taiwan in Taipei on November 7, accompanied by of Shen Huafei, vice director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, and Wu Xinyi, director of Kunshan Investment Invitation Bureau.
The officials mainly introduced a Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone to Su.. “The Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone is built to provide a first-class platform for Taiwanese commodities, which is mutually beneficial both for the Chinese mainland and Taiwan,” Ren said, urging cross-Straits governments and enterprises to join hands to realize a “win-win situation”.

They also discussed the construction of a logistics center in the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone with Su.
Huaqiao International Service Business Park has developed the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone into a modern trade area, providing purchasing, retail, wholesale and exposition services for Taiwanese commodities.
The Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone, covering 3.65 sq km, aims to develop into the first platform for commodities from Taipei to the mainland with five centers.
The Global Logistics Council of Taiwan, established in September 2003, focuses on promoting global logistics research and assisting enterprises in integrating and managing global logistics.
