The members said they were impressed with developments in Huaqiao, including the Service Outsourcing Base, Greenland 21 City and Leading Area.
They also toured the pipe networks, which provide directly-supplied water to NSK (China) Research and Development Co Ltd, the first test point to enjoy directly-supplied water.

The senior members said they were proud of the achievements and encouraged Huaqiao to realize the target of “a satellite town to Shanghai”.
The Kunshan Municipal Political Consultative Association, a mass organization led by the Kunshan Municipal Political Consultative Committee, unites a group of retired political consultative members and has gained wide popularity among several fields.
Members have been active in various associations and social public welfare activities, contributing all kinds of suggestions on social issues.
The biggest manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta Region, the Huaqiao International Service Business Park was built near Shanghai by the city of Kunshan as part of its main plan in constructing a “Financial Silicon Valley”. It is noted for having “the geographical advantage of the Shanghai region, the policy advantage of Jiangsu province, and the advantage of low cost in Kunshan”.
