NSK (China) Research and Development Co Ltd became the first customer in Zhejiang’s Kunshan to enjoy the preference of drinking directly-supplied water last Monday.

Since the end of last year, Huaqiao International Service Business Park has invested 30 million yuan into pipe networks of direct drinking water. The networks underwent professional purifying procedures of filtering, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and ozonization and water can be drunk directly from them.

The pipe networks are designed to provide 240 cubic meters of water per day for 120 thousand people in 250 hectares of the Headquarters Area in Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

Fifteen other enterprises in the Headquarters Area are also installing and testing pipe networks of direct drinking water, including Join-in Real Estate Group, Tangram Customer Interaction Center and Talent Apartment.

NSK (China) Research and Development Co Ltd, with acreage of approximately 30,000 square meters, was established this past August and assumed the role of NSK’s largest international R&D center.

With the launch of NSK (China) Research and Development, NSK is positioned to offer a full range of technical support services in China for the entire NSK product lineup, covering everything from industrial machinery bearings and automotive products to precision machinery and parts.
