180 members, made up of middle-rank cadres and new working staff, took part in a management training program for three days, from August 28 to 30.
They were taught how to write official documents, how to receive officials and how to effectively execute talks. A test was organized to test the effectiveness of the training. The average score was 82.6. The scores of 51 members, 28.3% of the participants, were even above 90.
Five persons were invited to have classes, including Wang Yongjian, director of the secretariat of General Office of Shanghai municipal government, Tian Jun, professor from Shanghai Normal University, and Yao Kai, professor from Shanghai Fudan University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training program, Ren Xueyuan, director of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone said the program aimed to help trainees enhance their working duties and executive capabilities, He also urged the trainees to apply what they had learnt into practice.
Tang Naixin, vice director of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. He spoke highly of the management training program and called for more to be held to help the young cadres enhance their comprehensive capabilities.
