The Deputy Secretary of Jiangsu province’s Discipline Inspection Commission Xie Xiulan and other leaders from the Jiangsu provincial government visited Huaqiao International Service Business Park last Thursday.  

Zhang Guohua, Secretary of Kunshan city’s Municipal Party Committee briefed Xie Xiulan on the development plan and the construction situation at Huaqiao. According to Zhang, Huaqiao aims to be an internationally-influential satellite town to the metropolis with signs that the service outsourcing industry is looking healthy. Dozens of major enterprises have established headquarters at Huaqiao and its function as a logistics center is now emerging.

Hearing Zhang’s report, Xie Xiulan spoke highly of Huaqiao’s advanced development plan and rapid momentum. Afterward, she visited the Ambow Education Group who are investing in facilities for the training of outsourcing personnel and China Data Group to learn its business situation under the circumstance of the financial crisis.

Other attendees included the Mayor of Suzhou city Yan Li, the Secretary of Suzhou city’s Discipline Inspection Commission Shen Wenzu, the Secretary of Kunshan city’s Discipline Inspection Commission Mao Cunyi, and the Director of the Managing Committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone Ren Xueyuan.
