Bank of China Services Company Ltd. was registered in December 2007 in Beijing, under the approval of the state industry and commerce administration authority. It is a joint venture between the head office of Bank of China, on the basis of the middle office and back office businesses and staff of the bank card center, and Hong Kong BOC Credit Card (International) Limited. The company is established largely to supply Chinese financial institutions with high quality and professional non-financial outsourcing services, and provide a third-party professional platform service with its own unique features. In this way, it will help cultivate a middle and back office operation headquarters base of Bank of China Group in the global bank card business.

The company adheres to the following tenets: adopt advanced technological measures and standardized operation management methods; set up a professional service system of bank cards with unified, efficient and safe services and operations; supply specialized services associated with issuing bank cards, and collecting bills from customers; assist Bank of China to boost the bank card business in a fast, steady and healthy way; and gradually sharpen the competitiveness of the company in supplying professional service of bank cards. BOC Services Company Ltd., Kunshan Branch will come into operation at the temporary office building of the greenbelt headquarters in the Huaqiao International Service Business Park in May. It will have 150 staff workers at the present stage and expand to have 600 staff workers at the end of 2009.
