On the afternoon of February 20, the Orient Overseas residential building project, funded by Orient Overseas International, officially got underway. The project is located on the eastern side of Zhaofeng Road in the Huaqiao International Service Business Park and is an important supporting project for the Pioneer District. This is the first-phase of the project, which will include four high-rise residential buildings with a total construction area of about 120,000 square meters.

The start of construction for this project is a prelude to the 2009 business park real estate project.
