Two projects from Ruzhou city – the Ru Porcelain Museum and the Mangchuan town's Banzha village – were submitted by Ruzhou's Administration of Cultural Heritage to apply for Central China's Henan province’s cultural foundation.

Established on the base of the Ruzhou Confucius Temple in 1983, the Ru Porcelain Museum is a professional museum focusing on collecting, exhibiting, and researching Ru Porcelain. The museum has a rich collection, among which around 2,000 pieces are cultural relics that belong to the National Third Level or above.

In addition, the museum is in charge of the management, repairs, and protection of Ruzhou Confucius Temple, which is a place for each dynasty's governors to worship Confucius, promoting Confucian ideas, and cultivating talents.

As a national major cultural relic protection site, Ruzhou Confucius Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. The temple is one of the few ancient architectures in Henan province. Henan province only has hundreds of ancient architectures of Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Mangchuan town's Banzha village is a historical village of Ruzhou city. The village keeps two ancient streets that have buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties along one side. More than 40 buildings from the Qing Dynasty can be found in the village, which is also known as a museum of Qing Dynasty architecture.

According to staff members from Ruzhou's Administration of Cultural Heritage, the administration has submitted Ru Porcelain Museum to apply for the Henan provincial cultural and art foundation; and submitted Mangchuan town's Banzha village to apply for the Henan tourism industrial park.
