The forestry bureau of Ruzhou city, Central China's Henan province, has been focusing on the management and supervision of forestry resources this year.

The bureau has issued a series of measures to crack down on the destruction of forestry resources and protect green achievements through planting trees.

In addition, the bureau organizes training sessions for law-enforcement officers in the forestry industry to enhance their qualification and executive ability. It also offers qualifications to those who passed the test of forestry and environment laws. To date, bureau has dealt with 80 cases that may violate environmental law. The bureau also takes advantage of television, broadcast, newspaper, and Internet media to promote forestry protection among the public.
