On May 20, 2013, the Henan government held its 2013 Governor Quality Award ceremony in the city of Zhengzhou, in which 10 enterprise winners including Longmen Tourism Group were honored.

Xie Fuzhan, governor of Henan province, issued certificates and trophies to the winners. Zhou Hongsen, deputy director of Longmen Grottoes World Heritage Park Administrative Committee, accepted the award on behalf of Longmen Tourism Group. During the meeting, it was also made clear that all enterprises were expected to attach great importance to the quality of their work, and to continue in the pursuit of performance excellence.

The Governor Quality Award was set up by the Henan people's government in 2009 and aims to reward enterprises that use advanced quality and technical supervision methods for at least a year and have achieved outstanding economic performance or made significant contributions to society. The 2013 Governor Quality Award selection kicked off in March 2013. In total, 35 enterprises applied for the award. Through expert onsite assessments, 10 winners, including Longmen Tourism Group, won the award.
