“I had no idea how beautiful Ruzhou was until I saw these photos,” a citizen of the city of Ruzhou, Central China’s Henan province, told the reporter on May 8 at Ruzhou’s Wenhuagong Square, where a photography exhibition themed “Beautiful Ruzhou, Harmonious Home” was held, Dahe Daily reported on May 14.

A total of over 80 photographs depict the city from multiple angles, including changes to its urban and rural areas, ecological environment, natural sceneries, historical sites and folk customs. They were displayed in the square.

The exhibition lasted for three days and gave Ruzhou people a better understanding of their hometown.
