The toll fees of turnpikes within Henan province will be suspended during the forthcoming two holidays: Tomb-sweep Day and International Labors Day, Henan Department of Transportation announced on April 1.

According to the provincial transportation department, all vehicles with seven seats or fewer will be free from toll fees while driving on Henan’s turnpikes (including toll bridges and tunnels) during the two holidays. Tomb-sweeping Day lasts from 00:01 on April 5 to 23:59 on April 7, and International Labor Day is 00:01 on May 1 to 23:59 on May 3.

The department also suggested that drivers get timely traffic information to avoid traffic jams or busy sections.
