Wang Canghai, deputy head of the standing committee of the Ruzhou municipal people's congress, and Hu Hongxian and Fan Xiangli, vice-mayors of the city, attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of a high-quality furniture project in Ruzhou, Henan province, on Dec 29.

Hu gave a speech at the ceremony and detailed the city's work in promoting investment. He also welcomed the furniture project- with a total investment of 150 million yuan ($24.8 million) by Beijing Ouziman Furniture Co Ltd - which will occupy an area of 3.33 hectares in the city's Runan Industrial Cluster.

The first phase includes seven assembly lines with different functions that will be built in one year – and the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 80 million yuan and tax revenue is expected to reach 12 million yuan.
