The city of Ruzhou, Henan province, will make an inspection in the city in a bid to promote energy efficiency and green buildings.

The inspection will be lead by the bureau of energy conservation for buildings in Ruzhou. Drawing from briefings, documentary research and on-site visits, inspectors will intensively investigate all buildings under construction since Jan 2013, including the construction of an affordable housing project and school buildings project.

The inspection will focus on compliance with guidelines and the usage of renewable energy and materials.

As introduced, the inspection take place during all of September. For detected problems, an improvement plan is a mandatory. The Ruzhou construction administration will also keep an eye on improvement implementation. Those who fail will be punished.
