The Zhongming Vase, a Ru porcelain work by Li Xiaojuan, president of Ruzhou Yujuan Ru Porcelain Co Ltd, won the Chinese Arts and Crafts 'Hundred Flowers Award' Gold Prize 2013, said the Ruzhou Ru Porcelain Association on May 16, 2013.
The smooth shape and pure glaze color of the Zhongming Vase represents the essence of Ru porcelain, winning appreciation and praise from the judges. The winning of this prize enlarges the influence and enhances the reputation of Ru porcelain in China.
The Chinese Arts and Crafts 'Hundred Flowers Award' was initiated in 1981, aiming at encouraging cultural innovation and creation and reviewing the latest achievements made in the arts and crafts industry. It is the award of the highest level in China and has profound influences. In 2013, 2,019 pieces of work competed with each other in the final stage, and 222 pieces won the gold prize.
The Cultural City Strategy adopted by Ruzhou has promoted the speedy development of the Ru porcelain industry in recent years. Ruzhou Yujuan Ru Porcelain Co focuses on the innovation and creation of high-end quality art porcelain. Its products are always selected as gifts in foreign affairs activities and were also featured in the Shanghai Expo.
