Ruzhou provided assistant to disabled residents on the 23rd National Disabled Day on May 19.
More than 100 people with disabilities concerning their legs received new wheelchairs, and more than 100 low-income people with disabilities received goods such as rice and wheat flour.
The city government had first conducted a survey to find out more about the needs of disabled people in 20 villages of the city, and took these steps according to their findings.
The Ruzhou Disabled Persons' Federation also held several contests on National Disabled Day, including table tennis, chess and poker.
