The municipal overseas Chinese federation bade farewell to 30 students, at the municipal government office building on Sept 27, who are going to study at the President University of Indonesia.

Last year, the municipal overseas Chinese federation had selected and sent 62 students to the President University of Indonesia. In order to provide the opportunity of studying abroad free of charge for more students, this year the municipal overseas Chinese federations plans to do more promotion.

They aroused the attention of numerous students and parents through texting short messages and playing enrolment promotion videos. Meanwhile, they also actively coordinated and communicated with the university and tried to get more scholarships for students from disadvantaged families. Through their efforts, this year they have successfully arranged the scholarships for 30 students to attend the President University of Indonesia.
