Ever since Yaoshan Mountain, of Henan province, gained the title of 5A Tourism Attraction, more than 540,000 visitors from home and abroad have visited the mountain, up by 28.6% from last year, bringing in 740 million yuan in revenue, 16% more than last year.

Yaoshan Mountain is an ideal place for sightseeing, summer holidays, and scientific research. However, the three most impressive experiences available at Yaoshan Mountain are appreciating the mountain, worshiping the Buddha, and enjoying the hot springs. In 2010, 1,890,000 people came to Yaoshan Mountian.

The Yaoshan scenic area pays close attention to the building of infrastructure, and aims to become a high-quality scenic spot. An advanced ropeway and well-equipped service center have been established there. Furthermore, the training for hotel waiters, taxi drivers, and merchants has been upgraded. During the vacations for Tomb-Sweeping Day, May Day, and the Dragon Boat Festival, more than 10,000 visitors came to Yaoshan Mount per day.
