A ten-day photo exhibition at the Pingdingshan Museum ended May 2 after attracting more than 30,000 people to its 381-photo display during the May Day holiday.

Mr. Chen drove his family to the exhibition."I paid close attention to this exhibition for a long time. Thanks to the holiday, I have free time to take my family out to see the beauty of Pingdingshan," Mr. Chen said.

Mr. Chen also expressed his fondness of the photos and said the photos indicated the beauty of nature and life in Pingdingshan.

A shutterbug spoke highly of the exhibition.

"It is a high-level photo contest with high aesthetic value and artistic value. The exhibition brought perfect visual enjoyment as well making the audience realize the potential of Pingdingshan."

One 74-year-old man stopped to enjoy Feng’s works titled, Hang the Quilts Out for a Long Time.

"This photo will enlighten young people to honor and look after their father and mother," he said.

The photo exhibition of Pingdingshan will be on display in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, and then later in Beijing.
