Pingdingshan opened its symposium on travel planning yesterday at the Pingan Plaza Conference Center, aiming to give an impetus to the development of Pingdingshan’s travel industry.

The general plan for Pingdingshan’s travel industry was outlined by its chief participant—the Yuanjian Tourism Research Institute. Experts in this field from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of China Academy of Science, Beijing International Studies University, and other institutions or groups were present at the symposium. Suggestions and views on the general plan were aired freely, and the symposium reached the conclusion that this plan for building Pingdingshan’s travel industry was quite sound and well-suited to promote Pingdingshan’s particular travel industry.

The symposium was quite constructive in terms of building Pingdingshan’s image and accommodating it to the virtual market. Valuable views and suggestions will be further considered in order to facilitate the development of the local travel industry and related industries, such as the hospitality industry and so on.
