Four referees from Eagle City to show their talents at the Asian Games

Four referees from the Eagle City of Pingdingshan have been assigned as referees in the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou.

Rong Xiaojun and Zhang Tianzeng will be judges for Kayak—Slalom. Rong Xiaojun, a world-class referee, is fully experienced in various international and national games, including the World Tournament, the Olympics and the National Games of the PRC. He served as the chief referee at the 11th National Games of the PRC held in October, 2009, and the sixth Asian Kayak—Slalom Tournament held in May, 2010. At the Asian Games to be held in this year, Rong Xiaojun will be deputy referee. Zhang Tianzeng is from the National Sports Bureau and also has rich experience.

Sun Xiaojun, referee for international wresting, works at the Pingdingshan Central Sports School. He was honored as a referee of national level in 2000. He has refereed national championships and tournaments every year since then, and was referee in the 11th National Games of the PRC.

Li Jianxin will act as referee for tennis. He was involved in national games in 2000, and refereed national games, provincial games and youth games between China, Korea and Japan. He was a referee at the China Open 2010 held in October.
