Nanyang holds science and technology support activities in rural areas

A culture, science and health support activity hosted by the Publicity Department of Wancheng District, Nanyang City, was held in Xiaolizhuang village on December 20.

The Wancheng District Science and Technology Bureau hosted an exhibition, distributed publicity materials, and held an on-site Q&A session during the activity.

The bureau offered local people 300 technical manuals on plantation and livestock breeding, 200 manuals on scientific and technological laws and regulations, 200 manuals of practical scientific knowledge, and 300 copies of scientific and technological poverty alleviation promotional materials.

Wancheng District has trained a number of agricultural scientific and technological experts for its 21 poverty-stricken villages in helping these poverty-stricken villages prosper.

The activity is expected to provide strong scientific and technological support for the whole district.
