Tourism boosts Zhenping economy

Zhenping, a southwestern county in Henan province boasting a rich culture and abundant natural resources, has implemented a "tourism plus" strategy by strengthening all-for-one tourism and carrying out infrastructural improvements to build up its local tourism brand.

In cooperation with Henan Rebecca Co Ltd, the government invested 6 billion yuan ($892.7 million) into supporting a series of tourism projects, including the construction of a five-star hotel, an anime park, and hot spots such as Taigong Lake and Wuduo Moutain.

The Lotus Expo Park in Zhenping county spent over 57 million yuan improving its facilities by adding signs for tourists, environmentally friendly parking lots, and 3A-grade public toilets.

A total of over 40 million yuan was spent building a training center, a yurt conference center, and a unique hotel with cement pipes in the agricultural ecological park in Zhenping.

As infrastructure continues to improve, Zhenping's tourism industry is showing new momentum in promoting the integration of regional resources and driving local economic development.
