The Wuduo Mountain in Nanzhao county, Henan province has been praised by a group of tourism industry experts after they paid a visit to the scenic spot recently.
The group of more than 50 experts were impressed by the way that the Wuduo management company integrated its Taoist culture with the lush environment at the tourist attraction.
"Scenic spots can never be of high value without a cultural essence," said a spokesperson from the management company of Wuduo Mountain.
Considered a holy site of Taoist culture, a series of folk art shows, fairs and opera performances are held at the scenic spot every Spring Festival.
Wuduo Mountain, Danxia Temple, Xinghua Mountain ape men relics site, and the Great Wall of Chu State and the are considered the four most important ancient relic sites in Nanzhao county.
In the first half of this year, the county welcomed 3.23 million visitors, yielding a revenue of 550 million yuan ($82.39 million).
