Guangzhou's Evergrande Real Estate Group has won a bid for two land deals in the city of Nanyang, Henan province in its first residential project in the city, as of Nov 12, which is expected to give a boost to the local housing market.
The land is near a new High School No.1 site at the Urban and Rural Integration Demonstration Area.
Evergrande, with assets of 540 billion yuan ($84.8 billion), works in residential buildings, cultural tourism, health, and sports industries and says that its development strategy is "First-rate branding". To back that up, this past April 14, its vice-chairman of the board, Xia Haijun, announced that any customer who doesn't like their housing for any reason can get a refund to assure quality in housing.
