The famous writer Eryuehe taught a sinology class in Nanyang's Confucian Temple on Aug 7.

It was the first lecture after the 165-day renovation of the Dacheng Hall at Nanyang's Confucian Temple, which became an educational site for Chinese traditional culture. The Dacheng Hall is a culture relic protection site in Henan province. More than 2 million yuan ($311,800) was invested to restore the damaged architecture.

Eryuehe is a famous writer from Nanyang, Henan province, known for his novels covering imperial periods. He called on Party members and cadres to keep alert from accepting bribes and avoid corruption. He also hoped that they could draw lessons from history and serve the people wholeheartedly.

The lesson inspired and benefitted many listeners. They all showed their willingness to contribute to the development of the city after participating in the lesson.
