Henan governor visits Nanyang

The governor of Henan province, Xie Fuzhan, visited the city of Nanyang from June 2 to 4, where he called upon factories, industrial clusters and agricultural demonstration zones.

During the three-day visit, Xie talked to industrial leaders and stressed the importance of structural reforms amid China's 'new normal' economy.

While in Neixiang county, Xie highlighted the importance of food safety and Internet marketing for food companies at the 17th factory of Muyuan Foods Co - a listed pig breeding company in Henan. He also advised Neixiang county to renovate its ancient county hall and surrounding streets to improve tourism in the area.

The development of high-yield croplands, cattle farm and a beef factory in Xinye county received recognition from the governor during his inspection there. He also noted the strength of Xinye's service industry. Dingtai Electronics Co, and Romon Group (a famous menswear designer and manufacturer), are two major contributors of tax in the county and were on the governor's route.

Xie also paid visits to a number of lime carbonate processing firms in Nanzhao county and equipment manufacturers in Fangcheng county that focus on bearing products.
