30-plus students injured in road accident

HANGZHOU - More than 30 students were injured when their bus overturned on the way back from a school trip in east China's Zhejiang province on Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

The students, all from Pinghu Technical School of the city of Pinghu, were on their way back from a sight-seeing trip to Fenghuang Mountain in Ningbo city of Zhejiang when their bus fell into a road-side ditch, said Pinghu municipal publicity officials.

More than 40 students were on board when the accident happened and the injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals.

Pinghu Technical School organized the trip and rented the bus from a local travel agency.
