His first stop was Alibaba group - a Hangzhou-based family operated corporation - which includes business-to-business international trade, online retail and payment platforms and data-centric cloud computing services.

Jack Ma, CEO of Alibaba, welcomed the delegation led by Prime Minister Wen Jiabao. Last year marked the 10th anniversary of Alibaba, one of the leading e-commerce companies in the world. At present, there are over 18,000 employees working for Alibaba.

"We started Alibaba with a dream. 10 years ago, e-commerce was regarded as a day dream. In the last 10 years, we had overcome a lot of difficulties and we stood firm with our belief. In the next 10 years, we have made plans to provide solutions for over 100,000,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), create job opportunity for over 100 million people and provide online shopping experience for over 1 billion people in all over the world." Jack Ma told Mr. Wen. "There is soul living in people and enterprises with dreams."

At the end of his visit, Prime Minister commented, "Alibaba opened a door for all young people, small may it be, there is light on the other side and we should be firm with our belief and march on."

Later that day, Prime Minister visited several manufacturing enterprises based in Hangzhou and encouraged the employees to push innovation in products.

The roaring of CPI in the last few months has been a major concern of Prime Minister Wen Jiabao. He visited East Mountain market in Hangzhou West Lake district and talked with both vendors and shoppers.

The last stop of the day is Zhejiang University Zijingang campus, where Prime Minister Wen Jiabao communicated with college students.

Prime Minister Wen jiabao left Hangzhou in the afternoon of July 26th.
