Guizhou will make use of "Six Adjustments" to realize the goal of leap-forward development and development transformation, said Zhao Kezhi, secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, on March 12.

The Six Adjustments includes: the adjustment of investment structure to improve quality and efficiency; the adjustment of economic structure to improve the proportion of the industrial economy from 39 percent at present to over 50 percent by 2017; the adjustment of ownership structure to improve the proportion of the private sector from 41 percent at present to 55 percent by 2017; the adjustment of urban and rural structure to improve the proportion of urbanization from 36.5 percent at present to 47 percent by 2017; the adjustment of regional structure to improve the proportion of county economy from 66 percent at present to 75 percent by 2017; and the adjustment of agricultural structure to fight desertification and improve the quality of the ecological environment.
