Universities and colleges in Guizhou plan to attract 300 talented professionals, mostly with PhD backgrounds, to join them in 2013, Guizhou Metropolis News reported.

Guizhou University will take the lead and welcome 40 professionals this year. Guizhou Normal University plans to attract 30.

A total of 41 universities and colleges – including Guiyang Medical University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics and Guizhou Institute of Technology – are part of the plan.

Talented individuals, preferably with PhD backgrounds and who are domestic or global leaders in their fields, will be targeted for employment.
