The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance jointly announced a list of projects to boost the integrated development of agriculture and industry in 2021 on April 2.

Yandong town in Bama Yao autonomous county in Hechi was included on the list as one of Guangxi's 10 strong towns for agricultural development.

It is expected that Yandong town's honor will promote the development of the local agricultural industry and the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas, as well as demonstrate progresses like the high-quality and efficient development of agriculture, the establishment of livable villages, as well as improvements to local farmers' lives.
