The Dayuan Bridge project of the National Highway G355 Dahua beltway officially started construction on Aug 4, marking that the Dahua beltway will achieve connectivity to provide a good traffic environment for the public in the future.
The Dayuan Bridge project is one of the important transportation poverty alleviation projects implemented by Dahua Yao autonomous county in 2020 to promote transportation infrastructure construction.
The bridge is located in the southeast of Dahua. It is an important river-crossing bridge of the Dahua beltway and is 3.5 kilometers from downtown Dahua.
The total length of the bridge is 364.06 meters, of which the main bridge is 310.06 meters long and the bridge deck is 18 meters wide. With a total budget of 90.77 million yuan ($13.04 million), the bridge is expected to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of August 2022.
After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will have a direct diversion effect on the traffic of National Highway G355, further alleviate road traffic congestion and transportation pressure, improve road service levels, as well as promote transit efficiency.
