The pioneer parks constructed by the Hechi government have provided a wealth of opportunities in the job market, particularly to migrant workers arriving from other areas in the country in search of employment.
Statistics reveal that as many as 43 small and medium-sized businesses have signed cooperation contracts with the pioneer parks, with 31 of them already registered. The registered businesses have provided jobs for 1,500 workers, of which the vast majority at 1,300, have been migrant workers.
"I'm very grateful for the business-starting platform the government has provided," said Lu Chengsong, manager of New Land Fungi Industry Co Ltd in Dahua Yao autonomous county. "The financial support and preferential policies have smoothed the way for a brighter future for our businesses."
More pioneer parks are under construction in Dahua Yao, Huanjiang Maonan and Du'an Yao autonomous counties, three top local counties fighting to improve social welfare, and vowing to provide efficient platforms for both finding jobs and starting businesses.
