Zhou Fei, secretary of Yizhou municipal Party committee, said during his speech, "Yizhou has been devoted to constructing a large batch of tourism projects and 10 tourist routes. It has also acquired honorary titles such as 'Chinese Longevity Hometown', 'Chinese Poetry Hometown' and 'National Top 10 Ecological Leisure Tourism City'."

"As the hometown of Liu Sanjie, Yizhou will rely on its beautiful landscape and profound culture to develop into a first-rate tourism city in Guangxi, famous nationwide and influential overseas," Zhou said.

Nearly 50 folk cultural teams formed a 1,000 meter long parade along Yizhou's main streets after the launch ceremony.
