Fengshan World Geological Park Museum

Located to the north of the county seat of Fengshan, it is based inside the main passage of Chuanlong Cave, the fifth largest cave passage in China. With an area of 12,000 square meters and a height of over 100 meters, it is the natural cave-based geological museum with the biggest inner space, with the largest number of stalactite exhibits, the most beautiful design and layout, and the most unusual displays in China. The museum includes such sections as the graphs & lantern boxes exhibition section, the object exhibition section, the multimedia demo section (the underground castle), the sand tablebased exhibition section, and the folk and ethnic peoples residence exhibition section. In terms of exhibiting style, the original condition of the cave has been organically combined with various elements of modern exhibition technologies thus creating a harmony between the colors & lighting and the inner features of the cave. In terms of the exhibition content, it includes the geological objects of the cave which are still in their original places and specimens of geological objects found in other places of the Fengshan World Geological Park and other typical geological objects found in different places in China. It is only typical large karst cave-based geological museum in China or in the world as well.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
