The park will enable different types of logistics companies to share the infrastructure and supporting services, giving complementary advantages to all kinds of logistics activities.

During the second the phase a logistics processing zone and an e-commerce zone will be established, covering an area of five hectares. The third construction phase will build a financial service zone.
According to the project leader, the park is designed to facilitate the economic development of western Guangdong province and cities of the Beibu Gulf under China's Belt and Road Initiative. It will also strongly support Zhanjiang's key industries of steel, petrochemicals and paper.
